Overview
Kerouac is a web-based distraction free editor. Kerouac provides keybindings for formatting, as well as markdown-like shortcuts for headings and block quotes.
Stack
Kerouac is built in React app with an Express and MongoDB backend. After evaluating several different text editor frameworks for React, I ultimately chose Slate because of it's flexibility and ease-of-use.
